Hibernia is the great Isle of Eire, Ireland; a place of old secrets and hidden lores; a place of great learning before the Dark Ages and the Vikings; then turned into a haven for looting expeditions for the Vikings, and possibly a hiding place for the treasures stolen.

Hibernia is now a delicate balance between the Fae and the Church. The inhabitants are both religious and superstitious. Even the clergy knows to be respectful of the local faerie customs or be the victim of some fae trick or worse yet, curse.

Hibernia is a magical place where the old powers run strong and deep. Lines of power criss-cross the countryside for no reason any Maga can figure out. Old Roman and druid sites are able to be found for the adventurous types. Vis is still easy to find, especially Herbam. The auras are still potent, as long as one is still respectful of the faeries or magical creatures who protect these sites.
