Welcome to Mythic Europe. This is a world where superstition as well as religion rules. Magic is not just a rumor, but is real and it’s practitioners powerful. It is a time before the Age of Reason when faeries were a real threat and evil humours attacked the body.

This web site is primarily made as a resource for Ars Magica, but truly can be used by anyone who wants a fantasy flavor in historical Europe. We will have many maps on this site that may be useful for kingdom borders and bishoprics. We have scoured the web and libraries for info on Europe as well as others thoughts on possible covenants around Europe. We have shied away from canon Ars Magica on several aspects, but do use names and places mentioned in Ars Magica sourcebooks. We give our view on the world of Mythic Europe and on the setting we play. The reason for this is we are trying to bring others into a game that we have played for many years and finally been motivated enough to compile information for others who have better things to do than take a slow history lesson.
